Ok, my car is getting close to being finished, and I'm having a custom interior done to it. I was going to go with real Italian leather, but my Dad who is in to the hot rode scene said that there is a synthetic leather that can be had for half the cost, and looks, and feels the same. Has anyone used it, and what's the cost of something like this as compared to the real thing?

Thanks
Mike

I'm told it's called Ultra leather. Is this stuff any good? Sorry for the double post.

I think it is a microfiber which have exelent wear charteristic, but don't puncture them as they will rip and spilt at a hole. Do a google search on the brand name.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Microfiber is a glorified term for polyster. It is basicly polyester as I said.
Syntethis leather could be imitation leather like in new cars.
