In starting my restoration process, I was told to be carefule with where you buy bodyparts as some come with extremely bad body lines etc. Can anyone reccomend a good place to buy body panels

I got a new trunk lid from Year One, and was happy with it. It wasn't the cheapest price, but a least they had one in stock.

I 80% quarters and a new tail panel on my 68 from Goodmark. The fit was good for the most part.

If you dont have a budget you can still find GM body panels. I did my car 4 years ago and was still able to find GM quaters and fenders. D and R Classic Automotive in Chicago still lists quater panels in there catalog but the add says "call for availability and pricing". I paid 1200.00 for a set of quaters, I would bet it is more now. If price is a factor, I have heard good comments on this web site about GoodMark panels. Hope this will help,Erik

Thank you all for the help. I will look into the factory body panels, but it sounds as if they are pretty expensive.
Thank you for he information

If you are looking for good repro's try NPD at NPDlink. My friend bought repro fenders and I thunk doors for his chevelle and they fit really well. They also carry GM OEM stuff.
