Hi, A good customer of mine claims he has a 67' Dana Camaro, complete with matching big block, etc. Are there any "Dana" sites that anyone knows of? I'm sure the car , if authentic could be quite valuable, but just don't know enough about these cars. Anyone know more about them?

I know that Mr. Wilcox is probably drooling over the thought of this rare 67' so...

:beers:

Kevin Suydam has a beautiful Hugger Orange Dana Camaro. Here is his web site. He has a forum and a chat section. You should be able to get all the info you need there

Its a bit far from us...in Mexico City. Its supposedly a blue 67' with big block,Muncie, console,etc...Claims it still has the "Dana" emblem on it.

My friend has what appears 99.9% to be a 67 Dana. I have crawled around it at length and photographed it extensively. No paperwork and no drivetrain but all the signs are there. email or PM me and I'll describe for you what to look for. Incidentally, I am the webmaster for Suydam's website and I've seen his 68 Dana up close too.

can I get the cars info as well. WOuld be interested in any paperwork he has on it as well esp invoices. Was the car sold out of DANA or a nearby dealership?? and then taken to DANA to be converted? Also any idea on the month it was converted?? Any pics of the car?

I've emailed him for more info. If anyone speaks fluent Spanish, this would be a huge plus, as English is s second language for my customer.

I saw a Dana car at the AC Classic Car show last weekend. I only got a few shots of it, but here they are.

Nice looking 68. Do you happen to know if there was any other paperwork that invoiced the Cowl Air Pleunm installation at all? I dont see it on the window sticker and have never seen one of a 68 thats not a Z28.

Looks to be a reg 68 RS/SS350 sold off the lot. Still one very nice looking 68 but then im a softy for 68's :)

I don't remember. It was pretty crowded around it. I thoguht that too about that cowl setup. But I know squat about Dana cars, so maybe they added it.

That is all I got shots off. My camera was dying off at that point.

It is a good looking Camaro.(I'm partial to 68s myself) I bet it doesn't have the paper work that would satisfy most people that are looking for in a dealer prepped car? Bidding quit at 76K? I think with the right docs this car would be over 100K even being a small block..........

Que?, Donde esta el Dana?

Creo que el paquete de capucha era un sobre el artículo contrario y podría ser instalado por el comerciante.

Unless there's some real docs with the car, that's a lot for a regular SS350.

Just wonder if the Glide was still in the car? Worth more which way? With or without?

I guess you had the option of 350 or any BBc?

Dana did some of the very early 427 1967 Camaro conversions. I have an ad from late 1966 where Dana and Yenko Chevrolet advertized together that Dana would sell the Yenko Stinger Corvair and Yenko would sell the Dana 427 Camaro. Dana and Yenko where also tied in with racing Corvettes as both dealers did alot of road racing.

Joe can you either post that AD or send me a copy of it via Email.

I know DANA and Yenko had a agreement for the Corvairs but didnt know about the agreement for Yenko to sell DANA cars. also any idea on the date of the Ad and if from a Magazine which one? month/year
