What is the correct speedo light color? My tac has a green light when the lights are on and the speedo is normal clear lights? Is this correct?

The light bulbs from the factory were all clear bulbs. Someone slipped a green one in there for whatever reason.

My 69 is that way, clear for speedo, green for tach. Both clear bulbs but there is a green factory film on the tach side to give it the green lumination.

There's a thin green translucent plastic "filter" inside the gauge pod in front of the bulb. The one for your speedo is probably missing. Check your tach and you'll see it.
