I have seen conflicting ads for 68 camaro wheel well moldings. Some advertise for all camaros and some say NOT for RS models. Is there a different wheel well molding specifically for the RS? If so, then what is the difference between the two?

Thanks!

RS Wheel wells have holes drilled in them for the rs stuff.

Birdman, I know that the fenders are drilled for RS items. I am a little confused by your answer. I am wondering about the actual molding. Is there a difference between a molding for a plain jane camaro and an RS model?

The 68 RS has wide lower bodyside mouldings so the RS wheelwell mouldings are cut short to clear the wide lower bodyside mouldings which have the "right of way". smile.gif

OK, want me opinion? The wheel well moldings are cut shorter on RS because the lower section from the RS lower horizontal molding down to the rocker is painted black and it would look like the molding is floating in air so they stopeed it. It give the whole side view of the 68 RS that continuous molding look.

Ya, man. Stopeed. You've never heard of it? Most commonly used in the 18th century coming from the Latin term V.Stopeniedia meaning one step faster than a regular "stopped". Here's a sentence.."My old car had drum brakes and it stopped well, but my new car has discs and it stopeeds". HA HA! Ok, I get it! smile.gif
