I am installing the new door panels on my project 68. I have in the past used from Schucks, Als, Auto supply stores a type of mix together E-Poxy. After a little while, (days) the chrome pieces, "pop" back off the new door panels. What can you advise? I would like to get these door panels completed today or at the latest, next weekend. I do have spray adhesive we used to apply a vinyl top, but it does not say to use for this application on the can.

I used 3m trim adhesive, the black stuff that comes in a tube. Been near a year, they still on good
