Recently I just glued a Taiwanese labeled skin on for my brother that he got from Classic Industries, and for the most part it wasnt that bad. The metal was just a bit thinner, but the fit was nice and the style line was crisp.

Remove the damaged door from the vehicle. Using a grinder with a 36 or 40 grit disc (paper backed) grind the edge of the damaged door skin all the way around the door frame except of course the window opening. Grind it several times until you can lift it away from the door frame. You can then either grind away the welds that remain on the interior side of the lip of the door frame or air chisel them off.
Once the old skin is removed, gring the interior lip of the door frame to clean away any paint, seam filler, etc. Place the door frame on it's interior side and lay the new skin on top of the old frame. Using a hard rubber sanding block, place it on the exterior of the new skin edge and tap the lip over the old frame so that the lip of the new skin barely touches the lip of the old frame. DO THIS ON ONLY ONE PLACE ON EACH END OF THE DOOR AND ONE ON THE BOTTOM.
Mount the door to the car making sure the alignment is correct (use a magic marker to mark the placement of the door to the hinge before removing the damaged door). You should be able to move the new skin on the frame using moderate pressure if you need to for proper alignment AFTER you are sure the door opens and closes properly. Once you are SURE of the alignment, hold the hard rubbed sanding block on the exterior of the new skin in the same place where you tapped the lip down before, Tap it down until the new skin is secure to the frame.
Tack weld the new skin in place in those areas.
Remove the door from the car, tap down the lip of the new skin down to the frame all the way around the frame making sure to hold the hard rubber sanding block to the finish side of the new skin as you do.
Weld the skin in place (one weld every 5-6" is plenty)
Grind the welds for finish, feather-edge the paint, prime and seal the seams with sealer.
Paint the inside of the door before mounting back on the car.
You might have areas on the edge of the new skin that will have to be ground with the grinder to insure a flat surface.
