Anyone using these? I saw them on the Year One project car and thought they looked cool, kind of a modern/retro ralley wheel that comes in 16 and 17 inch sizes. Just curious how large/wide I could go on a 69 without tubs.

I have the Billet Ralley wheels on my 68 Camaro. I have 17 x 8 on all four corners with 4.75" backspace. You could probably go as wide as 9.5" on the rear with a 5.5" backspace. I have read about several people using that size on first gen camaros.

Great looking. Where did you get those and what brand are they?

I bought them through Newstalgia Wheel

http://www.newstalgiawheel.com

They are made by Wheel Vintiques

http://www.wheelvintiques.com/

You can by them direct from Wheel Vintiques, but I found Newstalgia Wheel offered better pricing.

Woody68.
What size are the tires you're running on those wheels?
Those look nice. Very sharp 68!
I've been eyeballing the Wheel Vintiques Ralleys for awhile. I'll be buying a set as soon as a install my ZZ502, TKO-600 (both in my garage already) and Moser 12-bolt (soon to be in the mail).

Thanks!
Tim

Front tires are 245/45/17 and rear tires are 255/45/17. I too have recently installed a TKO-600 and Moser 12-bolt. I think you'll be real happy with that combination.

Woody68, thanks for those pictures. Very nice! I hope to do a similar setup when the time comes.

Woody,
Nice car, nice color. I have heard of 'issues' on the wheel vintiques ralley wheels with out of round, balancing problems, etc. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have 15 inch ralleys, and have been thinking about going for the 17's for some time now.

I am assuming you mean the vertical measurement. It is approximately 12.75" to 13.0" on the front and 13.75" to 14.0" on the rear.
