Geez...this guy I am talking to has a TON of 1967 GM parts for my Camaro...he could just about build a new one. He said that he would give me a sweet deal to hang my sheetmetal, but he wants me to see his work first. What would be a good (total) ballpark figure to look at for replacing these items: both rear quarters, inner and outer wheelwells, tailpan, filler panel, fenders, hood?
Any idea? I figure it to be a lot.
Thx in advance.

At least a few thousand. Hooda are $400+. Quarters and labor really racks it up there. The thing is I'd figure the price would be lower figuring the complete rear section would be coming off and not using a book value of the job per part since the majority of the rear would be off and out of the way. But who knows.

Are you wanting him to do the complete work and paint the car? If so, with the parts, supplies, paint and labor you are looking at over $10,000. That souonds pretty steep but there are many many hours involved in removing and replacing major body panels and doing it right then prepping the body, painting and hanging the doors, fenders and the rest of the sheetmetal.

He is just going to install the sheetmetal. He doesn't have a paint booth. I already have someone to paint it for me.
