Is their a special tool to crimp the small round retainer to the door when installing a replcaement remote mirror? The replacement retainer appears like it needs to be put on from the outside of the door. It has a really small dog ear on the upper right cornor at about 1:00 o'clock. But when I crimp this dog ear back it does not hold the retainer in place tight enought. My car came with a remote mirror but all of the parts were missing. The hole in the door is about an inch in diameter with a litlle dog ear cut out at the 1:00 position. Thanks for any help.

I thought most remote mirror controls used a very small allen headed set screw in the trimpanel.
