: Paint Process?

I don't know if I should even be asking this question. I'm about ready for paint on a 68 SS clone with late year 68 stripes. I want to paint this car with the front end and other parts off the car. This would give me the spoiler, trunk lid, cowl panel, hood, and the 4 piece front end to paint at the same time as the body with doors. I'm not sure I have enough room to lay all this stuff out to spray at the same time. Using BC/CC butternut yellow, how big is the worry of color match if I spray on separate days? Is there a way to minimize the risk?

Thanks

Solid colors should not be a problem as long as it comes from the same gallon of mixed paint.

Wow! Nice job on the blue one Jim. What is the advantage to painting the stripes first?

Thank you. That way I only had to mask a small area, as compared to painting the blue then masking off the entire car to spray the black stripe, then removing the masking to clear everything.
