OK, if e-bays policy is to remove these items, go to their "contact us page", and report this auction number 4619228699 this is one of the five trim tags being sold by seller jxbhtl on e-bay. He has four more, but this is the only one I have time to report right now, and it is the highest priced one. If we all do our job and report this one and the rest, e-bay will have to see a big part of their community is not happy with these items and sellers! If we are all serious about this situation, use those fat little fingers and get typing right now, Mike.

OK, guys I just contacted e-bay live help on Mr. trim tag, and re-reported all five to her, "Bonnie Li". Not much help at all. As usual she will report it the the proper area and I will recieve a answer in 24 to 48 hours. The auctions will be over in 21 hours from now. Lets hope she get off her butt and does her job. I really spent quite a bit of time trying to get these taken off, Mike.

Isn't that what a Cowl tag is/does/says ?

DOUG G, I see you experienced the same replys I did. If only a trim tag had a swashtika, or a bare titty on it we get them removed easily!

Ok now copy this quote from their staff and ask them to clarify which way it is with ebay, cowl tags or not? Here is direct quote in the email to me last week. Seems Thaddeus has a different idea about this.


Current eBay policy states that VIN and Cowl tags are not allowed on the site. It's against Federal Law to sell VIN tags without the actual vehicle it belongs with. This is the reason that eBay doesn't allow VIN tags to be sold on the site and are now considered prohibited items.
eBay has also decided to not allow any other type of identifying tag, such as an engine tag, body tag or cowl tag, to be sold without the actual vehicle. We also do not allow titles to be sold without the accompanying vehicle.

Please note the section that states,
