My friend has a x66 convertable. When I looked at the SS hood I noticed there were two locks on it ( not to be confused with the hood pins like on chevelles) One on the driver and the other on the passenger side. These locks need a key to unlock. Is this a factory modification. I only seen one other example but that was on ebay. Just curious about the modification.

had a set of those on my first 67... they are aftermarket, not factory.

I know that hood pins that use the alarm type keys are aftermarket. Just wondering if the pin type and cables style is factory as seen on the yenkos
