I have a good 12 bolt rear end from a '68 Chevelle, and want to install it in my '69 Camaro. How do I get the leaf pads aligned with the proper pinion angle before I weld them on? Also, what benefit would there be, and what is involved to move the leaf springs in closer to center? What's the biggest rear wheel/tire I can install with stock wheels wells?
Anyone else use one of these rears in thier Camaro? What wheel offset do I need with the 1" wider (half inch each side) Chevelle rear?
I't a street car with a 406 sbc, 4 speed, and 3.07 gear.
