Hey folks- I'm finally moving to Georgia from Las Vegas(My 68' should be a lot safer there in the traffic)
I sold my house here and already have my Camaro on a brand new flatbed car hauler, and pointed in an eastward direction.

I think one of the most exciting reasons of getting out there is the fact that I will be within a few minutes of Ricks 1st Gen Camaro parts(gonna spend lots of quality time there)

I am looking for folks out in the Athens area to hook up with and talk 'shop' with, I should be there around the tenth of April.

It might take me a little to get my 'puter up and runnin so bear with me on the emails around that time, and I will post my new email. I should have my current email till around the 5th of April.

Wow!!!! Thanks for all the replies Folks! I surely feel welcome now, I guess thats what 'southern hospitality' is all about, you sure don't see any of that here in Vegas (this place is turning into Los Angeles)

I for sure will be getting in touch with you all and I'm looking forward to the country life out there in Georgia.

Welcome to GA. I made the move from a little town east of Reno called Fallon to Atlanta 2 years ago. Big weather change (Humidity stinks!!!!!). Everything is green from spring to fall and the atmosphere is friendlier (except at Race Tracks). There are a ton of cruises around here. There is one in Canton (about 15 miles from me) today if the weather holds out but it looks like rain.

We could all hook up at the "YEAR ONE" show in APRIL! I think it is the second weekend in April over in Conyers. The new Summit store just opened up down in Mcdonough Ga just outside the 285 loop around ATL. The show room is larger than the Hanger that I work in.
Also there is the Blues over Atlanta at the end of April (last weekend) up here at NAS Atlanta. This is tha annual Blue Angels Airshow here.
And then there is Super Chevy in JUNE at Atlanta Dragway.

Lots to do!!!!!
Welcome to Georgia!

I'm eating my heart out on this one. My wife and I have a lot on the top of a mountain near Blairsville just waiting for us to build on. Hopefully we will be there in the next few years. I can't wait to get out of Fla!.

Welcome to Georgia from Cartersville Ga.

idoxlr8, did you make it to the cruise in Canton? I usually go but I thought it would be rained out. I live in Cartersville. We have a cruise night here on the 1st Saturday of each month starting in April (I think). We usually have over 100 cars and sometimes 200. See you at the cruise nights
