Chuck,
Case looks very nice, did you have to protect the VIN stamping to keep it from being damaged?

smoothtitan,
I used Jerry M. also a couple of years back to refinish my intake and was very happy with the results.

Chuck,

Is your work stain resistant like what Jerry MacNeish does?

Jerry does nice work.
Don Dorfman of ASL also restores aluminum. http://www.camaros.org/crglinks.shtml#Restorers

I have my Muncie sand casting cases shot blasted a very short time, maybe a minute or two. Even if the machined gasket surface is roughed up slightly, it has not affected ANYTHING with regard to sealing or specs.
The above pictured aluminum parts would not be stain resistant. I would maintain with BoeShield T-9.....but honestly I dont have enough expereince with the subject of maintaining this look!!!!!!!!!
If anybody researches in large city phone books, YOU can find a shop that has vibratory tumbling equip and metal shot blasting equipment......contact small foundry operations, as this is how they clean new castings after removing from the mold.

find a place that does soda blasting is your best bet!
glass bead blasting is too harsh for aluminum.
then you can take the manifold to a machine shop to check for flat intake surface etc.
