Go with the BBC engine mount pedestals and loose the large HEI. Go with a small HEI available from third party vendors (MSD, Accel, Petrox, etc.) with a black cap if you wish to remain inconspicuous. You will avoid the header fittment issue, and a host of other problems (read previous posts on issue in archives).
