For sure?? $#@$#! 3forme Mar 15th, 06, 02:49 PM Packard was what I said, so do I pay or not?? Kyvox Mar 15th, 06, 05:31 PM You may both be right. I'm not sure what the company was called at the time - Packard Electric, or Delco Packard Electric. It is now Delphi Packard Electric. Here's some interesting history. http://doonan.home.mindspring.com/history.html JohnZ Mar 15th, 06, 07:23 PM It was Packard Electric Division of GM; if you look closely at many of the connectors of the era, they have "PED" molded into them. Any plug wires that say Delco are service replacements. 3forme Mar 16th, 06, 06:36 AM JohnZ, iyo would that mean that if a car had Packard wires on it, they may very well be original? jdogg23 Apr 3rd, 06, 11:18 AM they still make them after market to buy haveing the same look |
