Would someone be able to bolt a small block to the frame mounts for a six cyl.? Just trying to figure out if I have the right mounts on my frame. From the pics that I see it looks like I do but there is play when I put the motor mounts on the frame mounts.

I think you can IF the motor doesn't go so far back that it hit's the firewall..

Anyway, I have heard that you can use any combination to put any motor in except to lack of block/firewall clearance!

Correct me if I am off here guys b/c I don't know about the 6-banger mounts under a SB motor??

6 cylinder frame mounts are different. Replace then with v8 motor frame mounts and you will be fine,
