Hello again.
I have a 68 RS/SS that I'm putting the lower RS moldings on. At present my wheel moldings go lower than the RS moldings. I need to know for sure that at that point where the trim meets the wheel molding do I need to cut this so the trim fits or do I leave it full length? And if I cut it, is there any gap between the trim or does the wheel molding right to the top of the trim??
I hope I made some sense here....

Take a look at the picture on my website. You can see how the rear edge of the wheelwell moulding stops just above the horizontal body moulding.

A pair of tin snips and a bit of hammering on an anvil will work well.

I also had to trim one of the rear mouldings as well. I tried two different GM parts and both were 6" too long.

Thanks Carl. It looks like the wheel molding comes down to the upper edge of the RS molding. I can handle that
