You guys have a hell of a site here. I’m just getting into this and you have already saved my butt a few times Have search through the archives and can’t seem to find these two items. First can someone out there tell me what would be the best source (book) to purchase that would have all of the specs on 1st gen Camaro’s Looking for where/ how things are put together in general on the car. Second have to replace my clutch today ( this sucks I’m not as young as I used to be and am not looking forward to spending time on the garage floor) I need the torque lbs settings for both the flywheel and pressure plate. I have a SB with a M21 if that makes a differance Thanks Guys

Ed, What you need is the Camaro Assembly Manual. It has all the torque specs as well as illustrations on how the car was put together as it rolled down the assembly line. Also another good book is The Camaro Restoration Handbook by Tom Currao & Ron Sessions. It contains alot of detailed information about first gen Camaros.

Ditto, I also really like Camaro Restoration Guide 67-69. It has good photos along side the factory assembly manual sketches. http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&isbn=0760301603&itm=3 (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&isbn=0760301603&itm=3)
