I'm finishing up my quarters and have a question about filling the sail panel seam. I'm going to use metal 2 metal as a filler, should I prime with epoxy primer first or apply the filler to bare metal then prime?

I would go filler than primer. But I am not a pro. I am sure one of the pro's will chime in. Scott

At lot of the pros are putting down epoxy, filler, and then epoxy again...to sort of sandwich the filler between the epoxy. I think either way would be fine, but I like the thought of having it encapsulated by the primer.

Use epoxy first than do the filler.
