i used goodmark outers when i had my quarters put on, the drivers side went in great but the passenger side was real rough. it seemed to long at the front bottom. i heard they make a USA stamping of the wheelhouses. if you can find GM nos, there going to be expensive. goodluck.

Just finished doing the left side on my 68. It is a tight fit to get it in with the quarter panel on, but turned out quite good. I used a oversea's brand. I used two part body adhesive where it attaches to the inner wheelhousing and welded the rest. Will be doing my other side next week and hope it turns out as good as the drivers side.

Good Luck finding NOS 69 outers. I looked for 5 years (even on ebay) and never found a set and if you do they wont be cheap. I used USA made outers and the were made out of heavy steel and the fit was actually pretty good. I got mine from Ricks. DO NOT BUY THE FOREIGN ONES.

I replaced just the rusted out lip part on my car. I took the foreign repos and just cut off the part I needed. Worked great. I can't see replacing the whole entire thing and getting in to all that cutting into the car if it isn't necessary.
