I'm replacing the drivers side outer rocker on my 67 coupe and it slides almost 1/2 inch(total) forward or back because everythings rotted away. I have it screwed in now with 13" from edge of door jamb to end of rocker, is this right?? can anyone hook me up with a measurement?

Jake,
Wish I could help, but quarters are already off my car. Where in SE PA do you live?

I have removed part of my quarter for access when I did the rockers, but I still have part of the leg that drops into the door jamb (where your tape starts). My dimension I have is 13”.

no measurement tanite lookin here, but how was the door gaps on fender and qurter? if they were ok the front door edge corner should be right in line with the front indent of rocker.if not rehang door with new hinge pins set gaps jam rocker up there with desired gap on lower part of door. you can only go so much anyhoo cause the foot of the b piller holds the rocker also same for the a piller.provided the hinges are in the factory position.the rear portion of the rocker where they choped it out you can do a tuck and roll when istallin your wheel house.i try to keep everything factory by saving not replacing but when repalcing the repop stuff is just that a repop from a mold which is most time 1/8 to 3/16 bigger and doors are off the pin by 2 shimms .i use a paint paddle tween gaps go no go method. try it you mite like it

Make sure you fill that gap in on the end of the rocker befor you weld it up.
Also i would check the otherside of the car for your measurements.
Check the distance from the inner jam to the rise on top the rocker front and rear in the door jam areas. then check the bottom door gap with the door closed.
Good luck.
