I am on my second 11" centerforce dual friction clutch assy, and its starting to slip. oh sure Halfast is driven agressively and often, but the time on the lift and xchangeing clutches is getting old. what are your reccomendations? see the specs and buildup at"

How heavy is the car? What gears are you running? What's the rear end ratio? What tranny do you have? What tires are you running? How much power are you making? What are you using the car for? Answer these questions and maybe we can help you out but sounds like you need a McLeod Street Twin clutch. (sorry I didn't have time to read all the info on your site) Nice Car!

Not a whole lot you can do about it. We ended up with a 4200# long style with an iron disk to make one sort of live in a heavy car.

I DON'T know if you can even buy it nowadays, but GM made a STOCK, dual-disc clutch years ago. It was said about it that you could leave it in your will to pass along to the next generation after serving duty behind an L-88!!
Pricey, even back then AND the pedal pressure was really light from what I have read about it..
Only thing about it is that due to soo much mass, it doesn't speed-shift all that fast!!
You can see a pic of it in HPBooks old book, "How to Hotrod BB Chevys" on page 126.
