Just looking for some opinions on which rally derby style cap looks better on a 69, short or tall?
Also, is one more expensive/worth more when buying used?

View Full Version : Tall or short derby caps for a 69? ck 2 Mar 17th, 06, 06:02 PM Just looking for some opinions on which rally derby style cap looks better on a 69, short or tall? Pricing is about the same. slck6t9 Mar 17th, 06, 08:33 PM I personally like the shorter cap on ralley wheels. To me it gives the wheel a deeper look. If you like the look of the taller cap but don't like how it sticks out, I have noticed places now seel the taller cap cut in half which I have seen on a car and they look pretty cool. Scott ck 2 Mar 17th, 06, 09:00 PM How tall(inches) are the short and tall caps? thedugan Mar 18th, 06, 03:56 AM Well original is raised but I think the 67 flat looks much better. Especially on a 14x6,14x7, 5x6 or 15 x7 where the raised derby sticks out past the tire and wheel. Looks like the raised derby cost more the then flat from what I can see on groudups site. |
