Theres got to be something out there that can be applied to the lower back of the quarters. My hoosier DOTs are chipping the quarters something awefull. Is there a clear plastic sheet, adhesive backed that I can stick on it? Please some of you guys must have the same problems, I barely drive the car and its starting to look like ****. Suggestions?
Thanks Rich

Hey Ragtop,
I know 3M makes a product that is sprayed on the rockers to protect against rock chips. You may have seen it on car with the rough texture on the rockers. I'm not sure if it is naturally textured or if it is made that way by the applicator. I have no experience with it. Also, you may want to try a car dealership. Maybe you can get something similar to what is used during transporting of the cars. Good luck with it.

hey 67ragtop! if you don't need it to wide, you can use 'ski saver' its a thick clear plastic, like clear contact paper, but thicker, but is only about 3 inches wide. it goes on the top of skis to protect. this product works well on edges of doors, rockers etc., to protect these areas from stone chips. it can be purchased at ski shops and comes in a roll. i,m sure this is made by Avery or 3m, so its probably sold somewhere in larger pieces, check the web.
