Changing the clutch on my 67 and the bell housing has cracks around the holes where it bolts to the engine.Any way of fixing this or do I have to buy a new bell housing? Are they still available?

If it is aluminum it is a piece of cake to have it heliarced and back on the road. If it is the older cast iron you make it into a decorative planter; and you do what you should have done years ago and buy a SFI explosion proof bell housing.

same thing happend to my t350 my dad can heliarch so i had him do it striaght as an arrow he said he would charde 30 bucks to do it if it wasnt me...no big deal just call a local welder and ask....

It is an aluminum bell housing so heliarc it is. Thanks for the great tip.I would add a big grin icon here if I could figure out how to do it.

Your bellhousing is most likely grade 122,355 or356 of aluminun, which is high in silicon content.A good welder can tig, mig ,stick and even alumium braze it.Silicon inhances weldability making these castings easy to weld.

Heck, I just got some JB Weld and repaired mine.
