On a 1973 Z28, what intake /carb were used? cast iron,or aluminum ? Q-jet or holley? did they have aluminum covers or stamped steel? Thanks

I seem to have an "early " '73 car. It has "bowed headliner," & some of the switches for heat/air are '72 also. I've had it for 30 years, original engine is long gone,(Now getting the 383), but I'm trying to make it "LOOK" as original as possible. Is that "cast Iron"paint pretty close ? Mine have been semi gloss black forever, Going to have them "blasted" before the re-paint. Had a bad sqeak from what seemed the back glass when the car hit unevened pavement and flexed. His came stock with a Q-jet and cast iron. I still have the original heads. |
