Herb Adams recomends these alignment specs for the street:
1 degree positive caster ( I would use 3.5 degrees if PS)
1 degree negative camber.
1/16" toe in
Stock factory alignment specs:
Caster +1/2 deg
Camber + 1/4 to 1/2 deg
Toe-in 1/8" to 1/4" (Radial tires need less toe-in, use 1/8" or less for them)
Ok, Iam going in for an alignment tomorrow on my Camaro . I now have 17" rims on the front. Do I go with the stock alignment specs. or have them use Herb Adams specs. Recommendations?

Don't use factory specs with wide tires!

The Adams specs are pretty good, but if you have power steering, try to use as much positive caster as you can achieve, - up to 5 deg positive.

For camber, use 1 deg for agressive street use, or if you have stock suspension geometry. If you have the Guldstrand mod or Tubular upper arms you can back off to .5 deg camber, but stll go to -1 or even -2 deg for autocross or open track use. Just don't use more than -1 deg on the street with the guldstrand mod.

I would think he should have a Thrust Angle alignment done to reference the front axle with the rear axle so the car will track straighter.

Hand the specs given to the aligner using the T/A set-up and the car will be a whole lot better than just doing a front-end alignment.

A regular front-end alignment aligns the front axle with the center line of the car. A Thrust angle alignment aligns the f/a with the rear axle and takes the specs and compensates for the un-parallel axles.
