View Full Version : WTB Hotchkis TVS kit? dzknight Mar 21st, 06, 04:25 PM Can anyone tell me where the best deal can be found on the Hotchkis TVS kit for first generation camaros? Thanks -Dan importkiller69ss Mar 21st, 06, 04:35 PM summit has the best prices i got mine there dzknight Mar 21st, 06, 04:41 PM I saw their price. It's only $10 less than buying direct from Hotchkis. There's gotta be a better price out there. I hope. -Dan italiano362 Mar 21st, 06, 04:44 PM I dont think so. I checked around and Summit was the most reasonable. You will pay 9.95 for handling but you will pay a hefty fee for shipping for some other company. I strongly disagree with Summit's handling fee though. Don't advertise free shipping and then slip in the 10 buck fee. importkiller69ss Mar 21st, 06, 04:52 PM yes and also summit will beat any price that is cheaper then you get their 10 shipping fee dzknight Mar 21st, 06, 04:54 PM I checked out Jegs. They're 10 bucks cheaper but they too charge a processing fee of 9 bucks. -Dan importkiller69ss Mar 21st, 06, 04:55 PM well whicheer one gets faster shipping go with them..since the prices are the same italiano362 Mar 21st, 06, 05:01 PM Summit should have a policy of preferred customers getting FREE shipping and no fee. I dropped about 15 grand to them this year and that charge really gets to me. Rocketrod Mar 21st, 06, 05:02 PM Ordered mine thru Classic Industries when they were giving 20% off. Their prices, before the 20% off, were in line with everyone else. importkiller69ss Mar 21st, 06, 05:09 PM oh yeah thats right i just orders over 2 grnad worth of parts and saved liek 500 dollers until the end of this month dzknight Mar 22nd, 06, 09:11 AM This might interest any of you who are looking at the Hotchkis TVS system. I was able to use my 20% discount from Classic Industries. To get the discount to apply on the whole kit I had to order each item separately (front swaybar, rear swaybar, coils, leaf springs, tie rod sleeves.) Total cost came to $891 including shipping. Thank you for your suggestions. You saved me over $200. -Dan Rocketrod Mar 22nd, 06, 09:37 AM I know Classic Industries use to provide free shipping, except oversized items, on orders over $1,000. dzknight Mar 22nd, 06, 09:45 AM They didn't charge me oversized shipping for the parts. Maybe it's because I ordered each part separately rather than as a TVS kit. -Dan drews68 Mar 22nd, 06, 09:15 PM i switched to a Moser 9 inch. Anyone want my unused Hotchis rear sway bar? importkiller69ss Mar 22nd, 06, 09:21 PM how much drew i have a friend looking for one DjD Mar 22nd, 06, 09:48 PM how much drew i have a friend looking for one Take it to e-mail or PM please so we don't end up hi-jacking the thread with how much and I'll but it posts... thanks for understanding, |
