: Corvette Bronze?

Does anyone know where I can find a Corvette Bronze (1968 Camaro) "swatch" to look at? I have a Camaro that was originally Corvette Bronze and has been "touched up". In very bright sunshine you can see there is some differnce in the original and resprayed areas. I don't know which is which. I have only seen a few Camaro's with this paint and they all look a little different. Any ideas on where to look for this?

Thanks! That's a start.

That Corvette is a bit lighter in color than my Camaro, but close. Chevelle had a Aztec Bronze in 1966 that is similar (it's possible my Camaro was mistakenly painted that).

I just found a website, check it out.

Check out the link in my signature. I took a couple pictures of a Bronze '68 Yenko at the last Supercar Reunion. Beautiful color!

ET, I also have a Camaro that came originally with OO Corvette Bronze paint. From almost completely dismantling the car, the best original paint I can find is inside the door. If you take the door panels off Im sure you can see some original paint that has not been exposed to sun and elements. I waxed this area and got a good result. Good Luck, Kevin

Thanks everyone! The links were GREAT!

jus4funn68, thanks for the tip on where to look for original paint!

Based on all this I think mine was definetly resprayed too dark. When the sun really hits a correctly painted car, Corvette Bronze is bright while mine seems to be a shade darker.

Thanks again!
