The CRG cooling system repoprts seems to suggest that a 6 cyl 2 row used the same tank as the sb V8's did in many cases. If you look at a 2 row next to a 3 row core radiator you can see that the edge of the core is much wider than the finned area. I am pretty sure any radiator rebuild shop can do what you want.

Thanks...I will give a local radiator shop a call and make sure it isn't a problem.

If anyone has actually done this, just let me know. Thanks.

FWIW,
I had that done once about 10 yrs ago. Didn't make any cooling difference for me. SBC 355, Double hump Heads, Headers, TH350, 2:73 Gears. Temp 195*
So I purchased a new Modine 3 core. That got me to a 180* for a year until that radiator started to leak.

noticing that you're also from Ky.:there are 2 reputable shops in Louisville, Ewald Radiator and Roppel Radiator. they can probably do this type of service for you. if you call, at Ewald ask for Steve; Roppel, ask for Mike. I use both,, and receive equal service and price from either.
