Not sure if this is the correct forum but will try anyway. A long long time ago, an oldtime restorer told me that to protect chrome parts while storing over the winter you should liberally cover them with chrome polish and not wipe it off till spring. This works great on bumpers, etc. but the "flat caps" on my 67 Rs-SS have a lot of ridges and the 'Chevrolet Motor Division" engraving. Anyone have an easy way to clean those grooves and engraving? Appreciate all help.
