I found an X 6 marked in yellow crayon on the rear seat divider of my 69. I was going through the interior looking for a buildsheet. Obviously I was unsuccessful.
Car is an early (pre x-code) Norwood car built November of 68. Car has 12 bolt, pdiscs, fast ratio manual steer, dual fuel lines at tank and front cross member (Quadrajet return line), BB heater core, and traces of black on trunk edge of rear panel. I also have a copy of the title from a state transfer from 1970 that has taxable horsepower at 53.6. (Taxable horsepower is calculated at Bore x bore x cylinders x .4) The previous owner told me that the guy he bought it from said it was a 396 car. All indication seem to point the car to a big block except the zz4 under the hood.
Does the X 6 signify an X66 body?
