Did the 69Z Grills come in any other color then black?

Is that saying that all Tuxedo Black cars received a silver grill regardless of any other options??

Can YOU reading this specify the exact aeresol to replicate the factory silver. I have used KRYLON's Dull Aluminum....????

Argent Silver is the correct color also if you tried a search here on the forums this was talked about a few years ago.

Original silver grilles were made of a whitish grey plastic, and thene painted argent. black grilles were made of black plastic.

Some guys have painted the back side a grayish color prior to painting the egg crate area argent, and of course the eyebrow area body color. Don't know the details of the grey color. I was fortunate enough to score an NOS silver grill a few years ago, so I did not persue the grey paint details.

Is there a brand name and /or formula # connected to Argent Silver. Do any of the name brand aeresol companys package Argent Silver.........or do we buy from PPG, DuPont etc and spray with a gun.......
