We're making slow(but fun) progress on the '69. It's mine and my Son's first, so we're taking our time.
We've removed the rotted driver side floorboard(front and back), and am in the process of patching a couple of small spots along the inner rocker surface where the floorboard downturned lip attaches. I also have to replace about a foot section of the outer rocker. I found a lot of debris inside and have blown it out.
My question is what is the best way to seal this moisture/rust prone area? POR15, spray-on wax, what?
I want to do it right the first time and appreciate all serious replies.
