My '68 ragtop has a solid bumblebee stripe painted on. Looks good, but there is no "break" above and below the 327 on each fender.
I'm getting ready to have some minor body and paint work done, so I want to correct this. Can anyone tell me how wide the gap should be in the stripe break?
Either that or the space measurement above and below the 327 emblem.
Thanks. You guys rule!

ckaram,
I believe the assembly manual shows the dimensions of the paint schemes. If I can remember, I will look at mine tonight. I may be able to scan the page and email it.

I just gave the measurements out on a post called 'Marina Blue'. It was around the 19th of Mar.

Ragtopman--
I have your post, but it still doesn't tell the measurement of the "break" in the stripe above and below the fender emblem.
Unless I'm spacing what I'm reading, which is possible.
Help!
Thanks

The spacing of the gap on a 69 Bumblebee stripe (D91- Cancelled on 8/16/68 which leads me to beleive it is the same for a 68 Camaro) is 1.44 inches.

Is the 1.44 correct? I have a 68 and i thought the emblem was bigger in 69?,so would the gap be the same?
