I inquired with GM of Canada to see if they had anything on my car (yes, a long-shot), and their respose was to send $$$ and fill out a form. Are there any markings on GM of Canada cars? I hate to waste cash....

I hope your not a Packer fan ! They wanted a credit card from me and would only charge if they located some info. They also wanted a snowballs in hell that it is possible that your car could have came from gods country .

What kind of documentation came with the car?? The P-O-P should at least give you first owner and dealer info.

The only difference between a Camaro sold new in Canada and one sold new in the U.S. (for '69, don't know about '68) is the GM of Canada oil change recommendation sticker on the passenger side inner fender, just above the heater hose clip.

The 68 Camadian Camaros also received the oil change sticker.

They only charge you if they can supply the information on the car.
