Hi there,

Has anyone bought the 450.00 decklid from Heartbeat city for a 68 Camaro?

I am curious on fitment & quality. Is it worth it?

Thanks for any advice or first hand experience.

Kurt

Hello guys, I saw this post and thought I throw in my 2 cents worth about the deck lids. I've just got one for my customers 69 Yenko and it came bare metal so we primed it Wed, and installed it Thursday. The lid does fit better than goodmark but it is not gm quality in my opinion. It may just be this one but waves are in the area above where the bolts go and around the edges where the top panel has been bent over the meet the inner panel. There is very nice holes for the spoiler that have been smoothed up.I just don't like waves in new panels that will need too be repaired before it came be painted.I know if I find a orginal gm lid it will need reparing in some way but I had rather repair an orginal than a repo.I can show pics of this lid if anyone wants to see what one looks like. I still think its the best repo lid out there and great deal for the money! RSR
