Hi guys,
I think I'm going to replace the quarters on my 68 with full repos. I have read everything here (Search) and I still don't get a warm fuzzy feeling about the fit. There was a lot of conversation about a restamping to be finished last summer. Has anyone replaced a set of full quarters lately and can give some input as to the fit? How much tweaking has to be done to get them to look half way decent.
Does anyone make replacement rain gutters?

TIA

I sent this email to Goodmark and below is their reply. I guess I have answered my own question smile.gif I think I will wait until after the new stampings come out before I buy a set. I sent them an email asking if this would cause a price increase? Is it the drivers side or passenger side that was the main problem with the existing stamping?

Start at the bottom and read up redface.gif

We will update the website when we have the new tooling in stock and mark it as such.

How will I know when this has happened and how can I be assured that I get the correct set?

Thanks

Scott

Yes, we should have a new better tooling out in January or February.
Stay tuned!

Gentleman
I have been reading a lot about the fit of 68 Camaro full quarters. I would like to replace both quarters, but basically I don't get a warm fuzzy about how they fit. Are there plans to re-tool these quarters to get a better fit?
Thanks
Scott

Hey Guys

Just an update on the new full quarters, below is an email I got yesterday from Goodmark. I have sent Goodmark an email asking how to tell the difference between old and new stampings? Someone else will have to be the tester for this as I will be going into the hospital next week for heart bypass surgery and I will be laid up for a while. graemlins/sad.gif

Do you have any idea when the new stampings for the 68 camaro full quarters will be available?
Will you be at Spring Carlisle?

They are available now. We will not be at Spring Carlisle. We do not typically attend shows. Many of our distributors do, however, and we suggest you contact your nearest Goodmark distributor and see if they can bring parts to the show for you.

Why don't you order it directly from Goodmark and tell them you want a new stamping?
