How do I connect the rear part of my convertible top to the pinchweld area? There are holes in it(pinchweld area) that I assume match up with the holes in the top. Am I assuming correctly? Also what type of fastners/screws are needed and how does the "rain gutter" attach? I hope my question/explanation is understandable? I did not take this out 13 years ago a body shop did and now I'm left to try and figure this out. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Pete

It sounds like your missing the tack strip. Look on pg. 188, right side, middle of Classic Ind. catalog. Its all held on with big screws(almost looks like a lag bolt). The gutter is also screwed on, and gets attached to the raised area on the pinchweld.

Thanks ragtopman. You confirmed what I figured out once I got the car out in the sun. The tack strip is there. I found 2 of the bolts now it's off to the auto/hardware store for the "lag bolts". Now if I could just figure out the type of bolt for the control link arm, Mine are missing. It's a manual top.

I was looking in a Ricks catalog, and saw that they sell both the tack strip and bolts.
