Decode for body number: 096278

03D = Built the Fourth week of March.
67-12467 = Standard Interior Convertible.
NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio.
760 = Standard Black Bucket Seats.
Z = (A50) Strato Bucket Seats (without headrests).
H-2 = Lower Color is Mountain Green and the Convertible Top Color is Black.
E = Interior paint is Black
Options:
1D = (C06) Power top convertible

It was a L6 car originally, so that may be the original engine.
What is the engine code, stamped on the pad next to the distributor?

It could be original, but those #'s won't tell us.

What is the engine code, *stamped* on the horizontal pad next to the distributor? :)

FYI

The CON or CONV that you see on blocks means conveyor and is usually followed by a number. It is the conveyor number that the block went down after it was cast.

ok sorry for the delay... this is the only other numbers that I found on the block. They where found on a flat plate above the fuel pump beside the distrib. Thanks for the help.
