After a lot of research and searching on here and over many wheel places I think I have decided on my tire combination but I want to run it by you guys who have been around and have seen wheel and tire combinations.

First off, the car is a 68 327.

I decided to go with a 16x7 4" bs with a 205/50r16 in the front and the car will be lowered 2" very soon in the front only. The rear will be a 17x8 4.75" bs with a 255/50 r 17 at stock height. We are pretty sure they will fit and if you guys have any input it would be great. The wheels are AMR Hopster's and tires would be a Kumho Ecsta SPT. I am looking for the raked looked with the car and a staggered look. In the end the car won't be a high horsepower dragstrip runner but more of a street cruiser with enough power to light them up when needed.

heres what i used on my 68, after CAREFULL measuring and a little bit of fenderwell massage(rear) 285x40x17 on 17x9.5 with 5.75 bs and 245x45x17 front with 5.00 bs im running baer brakes on all fours wich might push it out a 1/4 inch this is with a2 inch drop all corners ,hotchkisss etc. not saying yo go this big but?????? it can be done BTW no rubbing issues......happy trails!
