i am in the process of puttin all my steering parts on the new frame i bought and i went to bolt the idler arm to the frame and it isnt even close...the number matches what it should be from classic 68-69 manual or power steering but it doesn line up...my a-arms bolted up my steering box bolted up, my sway bar bolted up....i really really hope this is frame is for a first gen...it looks the same as the one i took off the car how do i tell if i have the wrong frame or the wrong idler arm....what frame could this be if it isnt for a first gen...would a 70+ camaro frame allow first gen arms to bolt up...or couls the idler arm be boxed wrong...what could the problem be...i am in kinda deep on this frame with blasting and painting so i sure hope it is the idler ar that is wrong

what about the idler arm doesnt fit?
the steering linkage is all flexable and there are 2 bolts on the frame

also, napa carries them you could just drop by and see if they have one to see if it is different

without a pic its hard to tell what your talking about. do you mean the idler arm is not fitting to the frame? or the drag link? if its the drag link, did you center the steering box before you put the pitman arm on? if the idler will bolt to the frame when it is seperated from the draglink you might have to pull the pitman and realign the box
