We just have seperate sinks in the same bathroom....so she has her own tube. I believe she does replace her cap though. What does drive me crazy though is that she squeezes from the middle and I sqeuuze from the bottom ....I learned that in teh military where we had to do it that way or out tube would fail inspection. One of my many "neatness" things I still carry with me from being "brainwashed' in basic training. She laughs at how i fold towels, hand towels and my underwear....LOL

It is one of my girlfriends pet peeves so she always puts the cap back on...but since I bought another 69 three weeks ago I have not seen her , it's been quite around here :)

I dont care, but she does cover hers up. We use different brand, so I have my own, but their is other thing she does that gets on my nerves and I do things that get on her nerves, so it all equals out.

Never turns out the lights, leaves the fans on in the bathrooms, can't take her car through a car wash, drives on flat tires (last night), leaves the TV on, but she does put the cap back on the tube.

We have seperate bathrooms and toothpastes, so I'm not sure either, but voted YES because she is so good about putting everything else away. Now the lights on when she is in a different room? I can't get her to turn them off no matter what I say or do. They are just permanently on I think...

She pays all the bills, so she can leave the lights on 24/7 if she wants to :)

She does put the cap back on the (her tube) toothpaste though and stuffs all that stuff back in a drawer when she's done (and mine too if I leave it out).

She puts the cap on the toothpaste, turns out the lights, doesn't use the AC, she;s kicking my butt on Fantasy Nascar and the other night she said, "Honey, I think you should store that 327, and buy the big crate motor"..

Thats why they make flip tops....otherwise, I would lose the cap and just keep it open, seeing that I get up at 0-dark-30 anyway....and have to rummage around the bathroom by feel...really don't want to wake the 'War Department' at that early hour.:D

But she is so mecanically declined that she Cross-Threads it every time.

You could have had at least one more choice. " Don't know" or "Don't care". Since we've been empty nesters for the last 10 yrs., I've had my very own bathroom. Carharts on the back of the door. Towel over the shower rod. Car mags and catalogs on the back of the throne. Man, I love it. She stays out of mine and I stay out of hers. Never worry about the toothpaste.

I can see by the results, most have their spouse trained(?) to "recap" or "flip the lid" closed.

As I said earlier, mine does not flip the lid closed. It gets a build-up and drips onto the sink. It all turns soft in the mouth anyway.

I'd like to thank those who answered the poll. I'll try to think of another poll shortly. And, try to think of more choices.
