View Full Version : Freeze Out plug ???

I am in the prosess of stripping down a 350 4- bolt block and I was trying to get the freeze out plugs out when I accidently knocked one down in between the inside of the block and the inside of the cylinders in the water passage,my ? is when the block is soaked in ihe acid solutioun to boil out the block will it disolve the freeze plug like it does the cam bearings any info will be appreciated Thanks Camaro BOB

The block cleaner will not dissolve the freeze plug. I have removed them from this position by pulling and crushing them with channel locks.

Mat is right. They're not really hard to get out.Iuse needle nose pliers to get it up to where i can reach it with channel locks and pull it out.
