What exactly is considered "normal" vacuum on a Rochester Quadrajet? I have '69 Rochester Quad, 7029202 on my '69 LM1. Consistantly reads 17hg however I was always taught 14-15hg was normal. Good news is the vacuum needle is steady as a rock so I know I don't have vacuum leaks...

Normal idle vacaum depends more on the camshaft specs than anything else. With your LM1, 17 is pretty normal.
