johnny67 Apr 11th, 06, 11:34 PM I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to get the power brake booster back to an original appearance. The booster is painted black and is peeling from brake fluid coming into contact with it so its really ugly right now. I was thinking if I took it off and maybe tried to get the paint off then buff it or something like that??!! As far as restoring the original gold cad plating thats left on it, your pretty much out of luck. What plating left is there. By rubbing and cleaning on it, its easy to remove the plating, but cant "add" much to it. dave camsdad Apr 12th, 06, 01:59 AM Johnny67: I am currently doing just that. Turned out great. Then after sitting at the painter's for 2 years, it was pretty blotchy.
