Hi Guys,

The car is a Blown 383 putting out around 800 horses... It has an electric dual fan setup out of a 2002 Camaro Z28, it also has an electrical SX (up to 1,000 hp) fuel Pump as well as updated AutoMeter gauges within a covan dash insert...

I'll probably not add a stereo system as it will be hard to hear anyway...

What size alternator would be best?

thanks,
TIM

I would say 140 amps.

Jim should be posting a tech article soon that I wrote showing wiring details for a modern high current alternator that you may find useful. I can send you a copy if you like. It explains how to take advantage of the remote sensing features on modern alternators (such as the CS130) as well as the connection for accessory loads like fans, headlights, etc. If you want a copy, send me a message by clicking on my user ID.
